The Congregational Church of Christ of Los Angeles started the church in July 1888 as a weekly Sunday School. It has met weekly ever since. It was formally organized as a church in December 1894 and incorporated in January 1895. In 1890, Redondo Beach only had a population of 660, but was incorporated as a city in 1892. The church became independent in the mid-1930's and retained its congregational form of government. Later, its name was changed to South Bay Bible Church. In the spring of 1985, it affiliated with the Evangelical Free Church of America (EFCA) and later changed it's name to Evangelical Free Church of Redondo Beach. Most recently in 2009, the church was reestablished as an autonomous local church, with the new name of Sovereign Grace Bible Church.

Morning Worship Service begins at 9:30 a.m.
Sunday School Classes for all ages are available after Morning Woship and fellowship.
Sunday Evening Worship Service begins at 6:00 p.m.

Ladies Bible Study on Hebrews- Every first and third Tuesday of the month from 10:30 to 11:45 a.m.
Tuesday Night Light - Bible Study for all ages and stages. Tuesdays at 7:00 p.m. (Chapel)
ANNOUNCEMENTS
Sunday June 27th at 9:30 am we will be having our church missionaries to Spain, Sam & Jill Tabiendo speaking and sharing their story.
Sunday July 4th there will be NO evening worship. Morning worship services will commence as normal.
